Liz Miller was born and raised in Kansas City. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, with a focus in archeology, and a bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages: Spanish at Kansas State University. Liz then moved to Washington, D.C. to earn her master’s degree in Museum Studies, with a specialization in visitor experience and exhibition development.
